Owen is the newest member of our coaching team, having joined in April 2023. At 17 years old he’s also the youngest coach at YFA, but don’t let that fool you! He has been playing at pro youth level since the age of 7, and is currently in the youth set-up at St Mirren, featuring regularly in their B Team. He is also the newly appointed Captain of the 2024 Scotland Schools U18 squad.

Owen’s love for football and dedication to developing and expanding his own skill set is incredible – he actually contacted us through our website whilst studying for his Highers to ask if he could come and learn to coach children. Within two months of joining Lil Ballers he attained his first coaching badges. He has since become a firm favourite with our Lil Ballers students in Bishopton, and started planning his first block of one-to-one sessions, which kick off in Summer 2024.
